Synopsis

Ray Owens used to chase criminals in Los Angeles. These days he pins a sheriff's badge on a sleepy border town called Sommerton Junction, where nothing louder than a weekend fair ever happens. That ends when a cartel kingpin slips his FBI escort, grabs a hostage and floods toward the Mexican line in a souped-up sports car. One town stands between him and freedom. One aging lawman refuses to step aside.
The supporting bench is a wild mix: Johnny Knoxville and his homemade arsenal, Forest Whitaker as the FBI agent in pursuit, plus Luis Guzman, Peter Stormare and Rodrigo Santoro.
