Spectre

Spectre (2015) is Sam Mendes's spy action film you can watch online on iFILM. Daniel Craig returns for his fourth turn as 007, and a message left behind by someone from Bond's past pulls him toward a hidden network with a familiar octopus on its ring.

The chase runs from Mexico City to Rome, from a snowbound Austrian clinic to the Moroccan desert. Bond is working off the books: back in London, MI6 itself may be shut down by a new intelligence chief who trusts mass surveillance over field agents. Behind the assassinations and bombings sits a man played by Christoph Waltz, whose grudge against Bond turns out to be painfully personal. Lea Seydoux plays an assassin's daughter dragged into it, Dave Bautista is the near-silent enforcer Hinx, and Monica Bellucci appears briefly as a widow who knows too much.

The picture carries on from Skyfall with the same director and cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema, opening on a single long take through a Day of the Dead parade. Less grit this time, more of the old gadgets, suits and cars. Stream Spectre (2015) online on iFILM.
