Synopsis
Holy Man (1998) is a comedy-drama directed by Stephen Herek — watch it online on iFILM. Eddie Murphy plays G, a serene wanderer with no luggage, no fixed address and an uncanny ability to talk to people without selling them anything — which, it turns out, makes him the most effective salesman anyone has ever seen.
Ricky Hayman (Jeff Goldblum) produces a struggling home shopping channel. His boss (Robert Loggia) is losing patience. When G drifts onto the set by accident and the ratings spike, Ricky decides to make him the face of the network. Kelly Preston plays Kate, a fellow producer who begins to question whether exploiting G is worth what it costs. Betty White, Florence Henderson and James Brown all make appearances.
