Synopsis

Deconstructing Harry (1997) is Woody Allen's biting comedy-drama, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Novelist Harry Block has spent years turning his friends and lovers into fiction, and most of them now want nothing to do with him.

A literary prize is finally honoring his work, but Harry has no one left to bring to the ceremony. His girlfriend is marrying his buddy, his ex won't let him take their son, an old friend's heart gives out. So he assembles an odd group for the drive upstate while dodging the advance he blew on a novel he never finished. Throughout, his real life keeps bleeding into the scenes he wrote: characters argue back at their author, and invented doubles say the things Harry can't. The cast includes Judy Davis, Elisabeth Shue, Billy Crystal, Kirstie Alley, Demi Moore and Robin Williams.

Allen built a sharp confession about a writer who can imagine anyone except himself. The jokes cut, the editing jumps, and the hero is no one's idea of a good man. Stream Deconstructing Harry (1997) online on iFILM.
