Synopsis
"A Different Man" (2024) is a dark comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Aaron Schimberg follows Edward, a struggling New York actor who undergoes radical surgery to transform his face — betting everything on a shot at the life he's always imagined. Sebastian Stan plays a man convinced a new look will unlock the career and connection he's been chasing.
It doesn't. The role he was born to play goes instead to Oswald, performed by Adam Pearson, who lands it without any procedure at all. Edward watches from the outside as a stranger steps into his abandoned destiny. Renate Reinsve plays their neighbor, the quiet center of gravity pulling both men into orbit.
