Synopsis

The Thompson family trades London for the countryside. Dad Tim is thrilled by his vegetable patch; the kids are not. Youngest Joe discovers a towering tree deep in the woods, its branches packed with peculiar residents: Silky the fairy (Nicola Coughlan), Moonface (Nonso Anozie), and a rotating cast of magical neighbours. Climb to the top and you step through into a new land — different every time you visit. Eldest daughter Beth wants nothing to do with it and is counting the days back to her phone and her city life. Grandma (Jennifer Saunders) shows up with a fleet of iron woodcutters to grant her wish, and suddenly the whole tree is at risk.
