Synopsis

Roy Courtnay (Ian McKellen) meets well-off Betty McLeish (Helen Mirren) through an online dating site and runs his usual play: charm her, win her trust, get to the money. Betty seems warm, trusting and alone. But her grandson keeps eyeing the new man with suspicion, and the longer the swindle runs, the less it looks like an easy score. Both of these people are carrying a debt from the past.
