Nimona

Nimona (2023) is an animated fantasy-adventure you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Troy Quane and Nick Bruno. Based on ND Stevenson's acclaimed graphic novel, it follows disgraced knight Ballister Blackheart (voiced by Riz Ahmed), framed for a crime he didn't commit, and Nimona (voiced by Chloë Grace Moretz) — a shapeshifting teenager who barges into his life and refuses to leave.

Nimona can become a shark, a bear, a towering dragon, or a sweet-faced kid whenever it suits her. Ballister doesn't trust her. She doesn't care. Together they dig into a conspiracy that goes deeper than either expected, through a world that mashes medieval aesthetics with neon cityscapes and never explains the combination. The humor is fast, the action sequences inventive, and the emotional undercurrent hits harder than most live-action films bother to try.
