Synopsis
Filth (2013) is a pitch-black crime comedy with James McAvoy that you can watch online on iFILM. Scottish detective Bruce Robertson is gunning for a promotion, and he'll sabotage every colleague who stands between him and the job.
On paper, Bruce is working a brutal murder case. In reality, he's snorting cocaine, sleeping around, turning his coworkers against each other and quietly coming apart at the seams. The closer that corner office gets, the louder his hallucinations grow and the less of the man remains. Jamie Bell plays his partner Ray Lennox, Eddie Marsan the gullible friend Bruce exploits without mercy, with Imogen Poots and Jim Broadbent as a deeply strange psychiatrist rounding out the cast.
Director Jon S. Baird built the script from Irvine Welsh's novel — the writer behind Trainspotting. The result is savage and unsparing, and McAvoy turns the charming bastard inside out in what may be his most fearless performance. Stream Filth (2013) online on iFILM.
