Gerry (2002) is a spare, dialogue-free drama from director Gus Van Sant — watch online on iFILM. Matt Damon and Casey Affleck play two friends who share the same name and make the same mistake: they wander off a desert trail and lose every marker that could bring them back.

No signal. No water. No clear direction. The film was shot across Argentina and Namibia's emptiest terrain, and Van Sant lets the landscape do the talking — long, static takes where heat and silence take the place of plot. The two men bicker, drift apart, and keep walking. It goes nowhere in the best possible sense.
