Synopsis

Steve Butler and his partner Sue expect an easy job. The county is broke, and a signature means real money for hard-up families. Then a high-school science teacher starts asking about what fracking does to the water, and a charming environmentalist named Dustin turns the town against him. The longer Steve stays, the less he believes his own pitch. Frances McDormand and John Krasinski pull him in opposite directions.
