Synopsis
The Last Starfighter (1984) is a sci-fi adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Alex Rogan is stuck in a dead-end trailer park, burning off his frustration on the one arcade machine the place owns — a game called The Last Starfighter.
One miserable night, after another rejection letter and a fight with his girlfriend, he beats the high score. Turns out the cabinet was never a game at all; it was a recruiting test. A smooth-talking alien named Centauri shows up to collect him, and the trailer-park kid finds himself piloting a gunship in a war between the planet Rylos and the Ko-Dan Armada. Lance Guest plays Alex, Robert Preston is the con-man recruiter, and Catherine Mary Stewart is the girl he leaves behind — where a look-alike android quietly stands in for him.
