Pinocchio

Pinocchio (2002) is Roberto Benigni's family fantasy, ready to watch online on iFILM. This Italian take on Carlo Collodi's famous book follows a wooden boy who springs to life and walks straight into trouble.

Old carpenter Geppetto carves a puppet from a talking log, and the puppet bolts into a world full of tricks and temptation. Benigni himself plays Pinocchio: naive, stubborn, and forever lying, with a nose that stretches every time he does. He runs into the scheming Cat and Fox, the dreadful Land of Toys that turns boys into donkeys, and the belly of a giant fish. The Fairy with azure hair (Nicoletta Braschi) watches over him, sure that a block of wood can still become a real child.
