Johnny Stecchino

Johnny Stecchino (1991) is an Italian comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by and starring Roberto Benigni. Dante is a gentle, clumsy man who drives a school bus for disabled children and feels life has passed him by. Then a glamorous stranger named Maria nearly runs him over with her car and looks at him as if she already adores him.

Dante never asks why his luck has turned. The answer: he is the spitting image of Maria's husband, a Sicilian mobster nicknamed Johnny Toothpick. The gangster wants to inform on his partners and vanish, so the plan is to pass off the harmless bus driver as the dead man. Meanwhile Dante frets about his blood sugar and a habit of pinching bananas, with no idea what he has wandered into.
