The news reaches Paris fast: Chief Inspector Clouseau is dead. Inspector Dreyfus, played by Herbert Lom, can barely contain himself. Years of humiliation, ruined cases and collapsed operations — finally over. Except they aren't. The body wasn't Clouseau. The whole thing was staged by Clouseau himself to flush out a major criminal network. He is very much alive, very much on the case, and still absolutely convinced he is the greatest detective in France.
