Monster Trucks

Monster Trucks (2016) is a family sci-fi action movie you can watch online on iFILM. High-school senior Tripp builds his own truck out of junkyard scrap, itching to get out of a quiet oil town that bores him to death.

A drilling accident frees a strange creature from deep underground — a tentacled animal nicknamed Creech, who loves speed and runs on fuel. Tripp hides him under the hood of his pickup and the whole rig comes alive: it climbs walls, leaps and tears off at insane speeds. An oil company wants Creech gone to bury what they found, so the boy and his odd new friend set out to save a whole family of the creatures. Lucas Till leads the cast, joined by Jane Levy, Danny Glover, Rob Lowe and Amy Ryan.

Director Chris Wedge, the man behind Ice Age, leaves his mark on Creech, who stays endearing without a single line of dialogue. Across 104 minutes you get chases, awkward teen humor and a bond between a kid and something that has no name. Watch Monster Trucks (2016) online on iFILM.
