Synopsis

Gloria crosses into Tijuana to help a friend through a beauty pageant and instead witnesses a bloody shootout between gangs. From there everything slides: a charming, ruthless cartel boss named Lino grabs her and turns her into his pawn. Threats, blackmail, errands no one is allowed to refuse. Gloria ends up wedged between the cartel, crooked cops and DEA agents, with every side wanting to use her for something. To get herself and her family out, she has to learn to lie, weigh the odds and strike first.
