Diamond Hunters (Охотники за бриллиантами, 2011) is a Russian crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Moscow, 1980: the apartment of a famous writer's widow is robbed. Among the stolen antiques, one item matters above all — the Royal Lily brooch, originally crafted for Louis XV.
The theft makes national noise. The interior ministry throws its best people at the case, and the minister himself follows every step. Detective Shakhov tracks down one of the robbers — the wife of a French diplomat — and arrests her accomplice, but the diamonds are nowhere on them. The deeper he pulls at the thread, the higher up the chain of command it leads, and the more dangerous the hunt becomes. The series tagline says it plainly: don't ask who's behind this.
