Synopsis

The trail leads to a hypnotist's parlor and to the magnetic Lydia Marlowe (Hillary Brooke), whose interest in the investigation seems a fraction too convenient. And lurking somewhere behind it all: Professor Moriarty, played with quiet menace by Henry Daniell — officially far from London, yet somehow very present.
