The Disaster Artist

The Disaster Artist (2017) is James Franco's comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. It tells how The Room got made — the picture that earned fame for being spectacularly, gloriously terrible.

Struggling actor Greg Sestero meets Tommy Wiseau in an acting class. Tommy has a strange accent he won't explain, an unknowable age, and a wallet that never runs dry. The two share almost nothing except a dream of stardom. When Hollywood keeps slamming its doors, Tommy decides to fund and direct his own film. What follows is a shoot where the director forgets his lines, burns through millions, and fights everyone in sight. James Franco plays Wiseau, his brother Dave plays Greg, and Seth Rogen, Alison Brie and Zac Efron fill out the crew.
