Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey) lives for his business and barely sees his family. His daughter Rebecca wants a real cat for her birthday, so at the last minute Tom buys a fluffy show-stopper named Mr. Fuzzypants. A crash on the way home lands the man in a hospital bed while his mind ends up locked inside the pet. His wife Lara (Jennifer Garner) and Rebecca dote on the cat, with no idea who is really purring at them. To get his body back, Tom has to become the father he never bothered to be.
