Synopsis
Wild Wild West (1999) is a steampunk Western with Will Smith you can watch online on iFILM. Six-shooters meet steam-powered machines in a frontier that never quite existed.
Gunslinger James West (Will Smith) settles arguments with his fists and his pistol. Inventor and disguise artist Artemus Gordon (Kevin Kline) prefers gadgets and clever tricks. The mismatched pair are forced to work together against Dr. Arliss Loveless, a legless Southern genius scheming to reopen the Civil War and kidnap President Ulysses S. Grant. Kenneth Branagh plays the villain, with Salma Hayek along for the ride.
Director Barry Sonnenfeld, fresh off Men in Black, brings the same taste for the absurd: a giant mechanical spider, a train packed with weapons, and gizmos no 1860s engineer could have dreamed up.
