Almost the entire movie is locked inside the cramped cabin of a single-engine aircraft over the snow. Marshal Madolyn Harris is bringing mob accountant Winston to a trial in New York. The pilot, Daryl, starts out cracking harmless jokes and within minutes turns out to be a contract killer hired to make the witness disappear. From there it's a claustrophobic three-way fight at altitude: a cuffed prisoner, a woman with no flying experience, and a grinning psychopath at the controls. Who lands the plane when there's no one left to land it?

Behind the camera is Mel Gibson, directing his first feature in nearly a decade. Wahlberg plays sharply against type as a bald, smirking villain, while Michelle Dockery of Downton Abbey shoulders most of the suspense.
