Synopsis

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009) is Shawn Levy's family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Former guard Larry Daley learns his living exhibit friends have been shipped off to the archives of the Smithsonian Institution.

Ben Stiller suits up again and sneaks into the world's largest museum complex to rescue the figures that come alive after dark. Trouble is, the pharaoh's magic tablet has also woken a villain: Kahmunrah, played by Hank Azaria, wants to rule and starts raising an army out of history itself. Larry's unlikely ally is a brash, fearless Amelia Earhart, brought to life by Amy Adams. Bobblehead Einsteins, Al Capone and a chatty stone bust crowd the halls, while Robin Williams returns as Teddy Roosevelt.

Levy moved the story out of New York's natural history museum and into the actual galleries of the Smithsonian in Washington, and the scale jumps with it. The voices and cameos pile up too — Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Bill Hader and a very young Rami Malek as the pharaoh Ahkmenrah. An easy adventure for a night in with the kids.
