Dante's Peak

Dante's Peak (1997) is a disaster thriller you can watch online on iFILM, starring Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton. Volcanologist Harry Dalton rolls into a quiet mountain town to check a few odd readings from a volcano nobody has worried about in decades.

The local officials want the problem to go away. Tourist season is booming, and a scare could ruin it. Harry isn't convinced. Mayor Rachel Wheeler is the one person who listens once the hot springs start boiling and dead trees turn up in the woods. Then the mountain lets go. Ash, lava and an acid lake cut off every road out, and Rachel's two kids and stubborn mother-in-law are trapped on the wrong side of it.
