Pathfinder

Pathfinder (2007) is Marcus Nispel's action-adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Six hundred years before Columbus, Viking raiders wash up on the North American coast. When the slaughter ends, one Norse boy is left alive, and a Native American tribe takes him in.

Fifteen years pass. The grown boy, called Ghost (Karl Urban), now thinks of the tribe as his own people. He speaks their tongue and loves the chief's daughter, Starfire (Moon Bloodgood). Then the longships come back. His blood kin, wrapped in iron and fur, burn villages and spare no one. Ghost has to choose a side and stand alone against an armored war party led by a merciless raider (Clancy Brown).

Nispel shoots the whole thing in cold blue-steel light, with snowbound forests and long stretches that trade dialogue for fists and blades. It's a grim, brutal take on two worlds and one war, where your own blood turns out to be the enemy. Stream Pathfinder (2007) online on iFILM.
