Synopsis

Rush (2013) is Ron Howard's racing drama, and you can watch online on iFILM. Two Formula 1 drivers who couldn't stand each other — and who would never have been great without the other one pushing.

The mid-1970s, the Formula 1 circuit. Britain's James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) burns through life: parties, women, a drink before the lights go out. Austria's Niki Lauda (Daniel Bruhl) is his opposite in every way — clinical, disciplined, an engineer who treats the car like math. They despise each other's style and trade the championship lead lap after lap. Then a rain-soaked race at the Nurburgring leaves Lauda trapped in a burning car, weeks in a burns unit, and a face he'll carry forever. Six weeks later he straps back in.

Written by Peter Morgan, the film shot its racing sequences on real circuits with the engines roaring instead of polished CGI. Daniel Bruhl earned a Golden Globe nomination for Lauda, and the real Lauda himself advised the production. A sports film where winning isn't about being fastest, but about how much you're willing to risk. Stream Rush (2013) online on iFILM.
