Synopsis
Monsters of Man (2020) — watch online on iFILM, an Australian sci-fi action film directed by Mark Toia. A private robotics firm strikes a deal with a corrupt CIA handler to run an off-books live test of four armed combat prototypes. The location: a remote drug camp in Cambodia's Golden Triangle, where casualties go unexamined.
The operation goes off the rails fast. Six American volunteer doctors on a medical aid mission walk straight into the kill zone. Neal McDonough plays a former marine working in the area — the one person on the ground who understands exactly what is being deployed and why no one will be allowed to report it. The robots follow their targeting logic without hesitation. That is the point, and also the problem.
