Synopsis
All Is Lost (2013) is a survival drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director J.C. Chandor strips the screen down to a single man: a nameless sailor played by Robert Redford, who barely speaks for the entire film.
Alone in the Indian Ocean, his yacht hits a drifting cargo container. The hull is breached, water keeps rising, and both radio and navigation are dead. From there it is just him, whatever tools are within reach, and an ocean that does not care. A storm batters the boat, supplies run thin, and sharks start to circle. There are no flashbacks, no backstory about who he is or why he sailed out. Every choice — a knot, a patch, a sip of water — carries his life with it.
