Frankenstein

Frankenstein (2025) is Guillermo del Toro's horror drama you can watch online on iFILM. Oscar Isaac plays Victor Frankenstein, a scientist whose obsession with animating dead tissue pushes him past every line he once swore he'd never cross. Jacob Elordi is the Creature — assembled from borrowed parts, waking up into a world that made him and wants nothing to do with him.

The story frames itself as a confession: a wounded man is pulled from the Arctic ice by a Danish ship, and as he thaws he tells the captain exactly what he built and what it cost him. Del Toro spent more than twenty years trying to make this film, determined to go back to what Mary Shelley actually wrote rather than retread the same old laboratory clichés. The cast adds Christoph Waltz, Mia Goth and Charles Dance; Alexandre Desplat composed the score; Dan Laustsen shot it.

Netflix released Frankenstein in October 2025. At the 98th Academy Awards in 2026 it won two Oscars — Best Production Design and Best Costume Design. The film runs 150 minutes and earns every one of them. Watch Frankenstein (2025) online on iFILM.
