Strange Darling

Strange Darling (2024) is a chamber thriller with horror teeth that you can watch online on iFILM. A woman runs through the Oregon backwoods. A man with a rifle is right behind her. From the first frame, none of it lines up the way you assume.

Writer-director JT Mollner tells the story out of sequence, chopping it into numbered chapters that play in scrambled order. So you piece together the ending before you ever reach the opening. Willa Fitzgerald and Kyle Gallner carry almost the entire runtime as predator and prey keep swapping roles. Barbara Hershey, Ed Begley Jr. and Giovanni Ribisi turn up around the edges.
