Total Recall

Total Recall (2012) is Len Wiseman's sci-fi action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. In a future split into two regions that survived a chemical war, factory worker Douglas Quaid keeps dreaming, night after night, of a more dangerous life he can't explain.

Looking for a thrill, Quaid (Colin Farrell) visits Rekall, a company that implants artificial memories, and asks to feel like a secret agent. The procedure goes wrong and an armed squad storms in to arrest him. His body knows fighting moves he never learned. His wife (Kate Beckinsale) turns out to be someone else entirely, and the woman from his dreams (Jessica Biel) pulls him into a resistance against Chancellor Cohaagen. Real life or implant, Quaid can no longer tell. Bryan Cranston, John Cho and Bill Nighy fill out the cast.

This is a remake of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger film, both drawn from Philip K. Dick's short story We Can Remember It for You Wholesale. Wiseman drops Mars but pushes the visuals hard: flying cars, an elevator straight through the planet's core, neon megacities styled after Blade Runner.
