Synopsis
The Little Vampire (2000) is a family fantasy from Germany and the Netherlands you can watch online on iFILM. Eight-year-old Tony Thompson has just moved to Scotland and can't make a single friend — until a vampire boy named Rudolph shows up at his bedroom window one night. Jonathan Lipnicki plays Tony, Rollo Weeks plays Rudolph.
Rudolph's family stopped feeding on humans long ago and only wants one thing: to become mortal again. Tony is the only one who can walk in daylight, making him their best shot at finding an ancient amulet before a relentless vampire hunter — played by Jim Carter — destroys everything. Richard E. Grant brings a weary aristocratic dignity to Rudolph's father, a man trapped in eternity and thoroughly tired of it. Director Uli Edel keeps the tone adventurous without talking down to the kids in the audience.
The film is based on Angela Sommer-Bodenburg's beloved book series, popular across Europe for decades. Stream The Little Vampire (2000) online on iFILM.
