Wonka

Wonka (2023) is Paul King's family musical, and you can watch it online on iFILM in high quality. A penniless young chocolatier named Willy, played by Timothée Chalamet, arrives in a city famous for its sweets carrying a battered suitcase and a head full of impossible recipes.

His confections make people float right off the cobblestones. The catch: the whole chocolate trade is locked up by three greedy magnates led by Slugworth (Paterson Joseph), who have no plans to let a newcomer in. Trapped into servitude at a laundry, Willy teams up with a sharp-witted orphan called Noodle (Calah Lane) and cooks up a scheme to open a shop of his own. Meanwhile a tiny orange thief keeps raiding his stock, Hugh Grant as an Oompa-Loompa.

From the director of both Paddington films, this is the origin story of Roald Dahl's character, set long before the golden tickets.
