Trance

Trance (2013) is a Danny Boyle crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Fine-art auctioneer Simon, played by James McAvoy, helps a gang lift a multimillion-dollar painting. Then a blow to the head wipes his memory of where he hid it.

The robbers are furious. Their leader Franck (Vincent Cassel) tries torture and gets nowhere — Simon genuinely can't recall a thing. So they bring in hypnotherapist Elizabeth (Rosario Dawson) to dig the answer out of his damaged mind. The deeper she goes, the harder it is to tell memory from suggestion, or to say who is really running the con.
