Back to Black (2024) is a biographical music drama you can watch online on iFILM. It tells the story of singer Amy Winehouse — the voice that shook up British soul, and the love that both fed and wrecked it.

The film opens in Camden, where a young singer with inked arms and a towering beehive belts jazz in smoky London pubs. From there comes the fast climb: a record deal, then the album that turned her into a global name. At the heart of it sits her stormy romance with Blake Fielder-Civil, the fuel behind her rawest songs. Marisa Abela plays Amy and recorded the vocals herself; Jack O'Connell is Blake, Eddie Marsan her father, and Lesley Manville her grandmother.

Behind the camera is Sam Taylor-Johnson, who refuses to reduce her subject to a tabloid headline and instead watches from the inside, through Amy's own eyes and the lines of her lyrics.
