X2 (2003) is Bryan Singer's superhero action sequel, and you can watch it online on iFILM. An assassination attempt on the U.S. President pushes fear of mutants past the breaking point.

The man fanning that fear is Colonel William Stryker, a former soldier set on wiping mutants out for good. His troops raid Professor Xavier's school and scatter the team. Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine, whose buried past turns out to be tangled up in Stryker's experiments. Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen put Xavier and Magneto on the same side for once, old enemies forced to fight together. Storm (Halle Berry), Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) and the teleporting Nightcrawler round out the fight.

Singer made the second chapter darker and tighter than the first, leaning into a story about prejudice and the rights of people branded as different. The ending sets up one of the saga's great tragedies. Stream X2 (2003) online on iFILM.
