Synopsis

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere (2025) — watch online on iFILM: Scott Cooper's biographical drama about the making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska, with Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen, alongside Jeremy Strong and Paul Walter Hauser.

The story begins in the early 1980s, after Born to Run has made Springsteen a rock phenomenon. What comes next is the opposite of what the industry expects: a bedroom cassette recorder, twelve spare acoustic tracks about people with nothing left, and the decision to release it as his next record. His manager Jon Landau, his label, everyone around him is braced for a commercial follow-up. Bruce delivers Nebraska. No hits. No stadium sound. Just portraits of Americans standing at the edge.

Cooper builds the film around that internal pressure rather than a highlights reel. Jeremy Allen White — known for The Bear — brings the character's tension without playing impersonation. Released in 2025, the film drew immediate attention for its unflinching look at an artist choosing truth over commercial survival. Stream Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere online on iFILM.
