Synopsis
Event Horizon (1997) is Paul W. S. Anderson's space horror you can watch online on iFILM. The year is 2047, and a rescue ship answers a distress call from a vessel that vanished near Neptune.
The starship Event Horizon was built to fold space and travel faster than light. On its first voyage it disappeared without a trace. Seven years later it reappears in orbit around Neptune, and a salvage crew led by Captain Miller (Laurence Fishburne) goes to bring it home. With them flies Dr. Weir (Sam Neill), the engineer who designed the doomed drive. The ship is empty. But its walls seem to remember the crew, and it starts feeding each visitor their own worst fear.
Anderson blends hard science fiction with gothic dread: maze-like corridors, blood on the bulkheads, a gravity drive that opened a door to somewhere it should not have.
