Arcadian

Some catastrophe has wiped out nearly everyone, and a handful of survivors are scattered across an emptied Earth. Paul hides in a remote farmhouse with his twin sons, Thomas and Joseph. Daylight is bearable. But once the sun drops, creatures crawl out of the dark, fast and starving, tearing through anything alive in their path. The house holds the line until dawn, night after night. Then Paul is hurt badly, and the boys have to work out their own way to survive and keep him breathing, using every scrap of what their father drilled into them.

This is small-scale apocalypse, and the dread comes less from spectacle than from a flimsy shelter and a long night. Jayden Martell and Maxwell Jenkins play the twins, and the bond between the brothers carries as much weight as the monsters outside the walls.
