Synopsis
Vettaiyan (2024) is a Tamil action crime drama available to watch online on iFILM. Director T. J. Gnanavel puts Rajinikanth in the role of a seasoned supercop who has always bent the rules — and brings in Amitabh Bachchan as a key counterbalance.
A suspect is shot during an arrest. Standing by that decision means going to war with the very system the officer belongs to. Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati round out a cast that sustains 161 minutes without losing grip. Gnanavel shoots with the scale and political urgency Tamil cinema does well — action and institutional critique in the same frame.
