Synopsis

Bonnie and Clyde (1967) is Arthur Penn's crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. A restless small-town waitress catches an ex-con trying to steal her mother's car, and within days the two are robbing their first bank together.

Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway play outlaws who treat early holdups like a thrill, a way to feel alive in the dust of the Depression-era South. Stolen cars, breathless newspaper headlines, a fast-growing legend. A slow-witted mechanic (Michael J. Pollard) tags along, Clyde's brother Buck (Gene Hackman) shows up with his jittery wife Blanche, and the gang rolls toward a moment where the fun runs out of road.

Penn's film tore up the old Hollywood rulebook. Its raw violence and odd sympathy for the criminals stunned audiences and helped kick off the New Hollywood era. Two Academy Awards, an early screen appearance by Gene Wilder, and an ending people kept arguing about for decades. Stream Bonnie and Clyde (1967) online on iFILM.
