Rugal (Season 1)

"Rugal" (루갈, 2020) is a Korean sci-fi action series you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Kang Chul-woo and based on the webtoon of the same name, it follows police officer Kang Ki-bum (Choi Jin-hyuk) who loses his wife and his eyesight in an operation against the criminal syndicate Argos — then gets framed for murder. Then the National Intelligence Service steps in.

The NIS recruits him for a covert unit called Rugal, fitting him with biotechnology eye implants that give him abilities no ordinary detective carries. His target is Argos and its head, Hwang Deok-goo (Park Sung-woong). Jo Dong-hyuk and Jung Hye-in play his teammates.
