The House of Magic

The House of Magic (2013) is a family animated film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Ben Stassen and Jérémie Degruson for Belgian studio nWave Pictures. A stray ginger cat named Thunder ducks inside an old magician's mansion to escape a rainstorm and finds himself surrounded by whirring automatons, trick mirrors, and contraptions that seem to run on wonder.

The resident animals are not welcoming. Jack Rabbit and Maggie Mouse immediately set out to chase Thunder away with a string of elaborate traps. Then the magician falls ill and ends up in hospital — and his greedy nephew arrives to appraise the property. Old enemies become reluctant allies fast. Thunder recruits the magician's mechanical assistants and turns the house itself into a trap for the would-be sellers.

At 85 minutes, the film keeps moving: short on lectures, strong on visual gags, and genuinely warm when it counts. A solid pick for younger viewers who like their adventures with a bit of clockwork mischief. Stream The House of Magic (2013) online on iFILM.
