Synopsis
Marjorie Prime (2017) is an American sci-fi drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Michael Almereyda adapts Jordan Harrison's Pulitzer-nominated play about memory, grief, and the technology we use to outrun both.
Marjorie is a former violinist whose memories are slipping away. Her family sets her up with a holographic projection of her late husband — perpetually young, patient, asking the right questions. Lois Smith, Geena Davis, and Tim Robbins play the three living characters around her, each carrying a version of the past that doesn't quite match the others. The line between the real and the replicated quietly dissolves.
