Synopsis
Mob City (2013) is a TNT crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Los Angeles, late 1940s: police chief William Parker is running a systematic campaign against organized crime, and on the other side of that fight sits Mickey Cohen — ex-boxer, current boss of the city's underworld economy. Between them stands detective Joe Dav, played by Jon Bernthal, a man who has history with both camps.
Alexa Davalos plays a nightclub singer with deeper mob ties than she lets on. Milo Ventimiglia and Edward Burns round out a cast assembled to look and sound like they stepped off a film noir set. The show commits to that aesthetic: sharp dialogue, no sentimentality, all the glamour of golden-age Hollywood with the rot showing underneath.
