The Rain (2018) is a Danish post-apocalyptic series from Netflix that you can watch online on iFILM. It was the streamer's first Scandinavian original, and it follows a brother and sister whose world fell apart when a virus carried by rainwater wiped out most of the population.

Simone and her younger brother Rasmus spend six years sealed in a bunker until their scientist father, who left to find a cure, fails to return. When supplies run dry, they have to step out into an emptied Denmark. Outside waits a hollowed-out country, a gang of other teenage survivors, and one rule that cannot be broken: never let a single drop touch you. Their father left behind a notebook holding the key to the virus, and maybe to why Rasmus matters so much.

Alba August and Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen lead the young group through abandoned houses and overgrown highways, where the bigger threat is usually other people rather than the rain itself.
