A bite from a lab animal lets the virus loose, and the infection tears through the hallways faster than anyone can react. A small group of students barricades into classrooms and onto the roof. Outside are former classmates, now snarling and hungry. No phones, no rescue, the adults cut off. On-jo (Park Ji-hu), Cheong-san and their friends have to push through a building crawling with the infected and decide, again and again, who they can carry and who they have to leave behind.
