John Doe (Season 1)

John Doe (2002–2003) is an American sci-fi detective series you can watch online on iFILM, starring Dominic Purcell as a man who wakes up naked on an island near Seattle with no memory of who he is. There's a catch: he somehow knows everything else — every fact, figure and language humanity has ever recorded, except his own name and history.

He takes the name John Doe and starts consulting for the Seattle police, solving cases with his near-omniscient recall, while quietly chasing down clues to his own identity. The conspiracy around his origins grows stranger as the season progresses. Fox cancelled the show after one season, leaving the central mystery unresolved — something the fanbase has never entirely forgiven.
