Synopsis
Shining Girls (2022) is a psychological thriller from Apple TV+ that you can watch online on iFILM. Elisabeth Moss plays Kirby Mazrachi, an archivist at a Chicago newspaper whose reality keeps shifting since a brutal attack years earlier — her apartment rearranges itself, her cat changes, conversations she remembers never happened.
When Kirby learns that a recent murder matches the details of her own assault, she teams with burned-out investigative reporter Dan Velazquez, played by Wagner Moura. Jamie Bell plays the killer, a man who can move through time, selecting victims across different decades and leaving each one changed — or dead. The series isn't really interested in explaining the time mechanics; it stays with Kirby, watching her build a version of the present she can stand on.
